Kafka: The Final Blog

At the end of the novel the family finally decide that they must get rid of Gregor. That night gregor passes away. Almost immediately they parents are refirred to in the Mr. and Mrs. titles and the sister's name is finally mentioned. There seems to be a joy and light brought upon the family. It seems as if Gregor had given his last provision to them: his life.
